Sunshine Technology develops and manages commercial forestry and biofuel ventures in China. These ventures are designed to generate carbon credits under the Kyoto Protocol for their contribution to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

Sunshine Technology’s most advanced venture is located in Honghe Prefecture, Yunnan Province, where planting of trees and biofuel crops has begun on sites totalling more than 260,000 hectares. The company plans to expand rapidly and be a dominant player in the forestry and biofuel sectors. Our goal is to hold over 1 million hectares under management by mid-2008, and negotiations to secure land rights in several locations in China are at an advanced stage.
